Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Ministers Leslie Grant and Steve Shappley officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Opal leaves her husband of 70 years, Lawrence Williams, whom she married November 30, 1946; three children, Larry (Beth) Williams and Judy (Perry) Britt, both of Tupelo, and Cathy (Terry) McCarthy of Fulton; five grandchildren, Michael (Mindy) Williams of Germantown, TN, Whitney (Ryan) Payne of Nettleton, Katie (Sam) McDuffie of Amory, Anna (Jonathan) Begnaud of Tupelo, and Christopher (Kara) Britt of Palestine, AR; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Edith Sandlin; and her brother, Aubrey Burns.
Pallbearers will be Mike McLeod, Milton Barlow, Donnie Sandlin, John Wilson, Robert Pierce, and Mike Moralt.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
