Michael loved to go fishing! He worked at the University of Utah Hospital as a Surgical Technician, after developing arthritis and when his condition became too severe to carry on as a Surgical Technician he transferred into Custodial Care. Michael was born deaf. Unfortunately he never knew his father, John, who was killed in an automobile accident the night before he was to be deployed into the United States Armed Forces. Michael was extremely determined and independent throughout his life.
He is survived by his Cousins, Lori Howland; Kathleen Maka; EllaMae Riddings; Donna Stowell and Art (Helen) Stowell; numerous Nieces and Nephews; his God-Daughter, Kaylani Corneau and many dear friends from the Lowell Apartments.
On Michael headstone mentions Joseph not John he is my cousin I only remember everyone called him Mickey
