Arthur Stich, Fontana
Arthur W. Stich, 61, of Fontana, died in a hospital there Wednesday. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a steam fitter and welder with Southern California Pipe Trades 16 years and was a veteran of World War II. He also was a member of Elks Lodge No. 2013 and the Fontana American Legion No. 262. Survivors include his wife, Lois; a son, Josiah R. of Brownsville, N.J.; a daughter, Sheri Lynn of Manhattan Beach; two brothers, Albert C. and Melvin of Cincinnati; two sisters, Marcella Duclo and Louise Leith of Cincinnati, and a grandchild. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Ingold Chapel, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Park.
