Two of Squire Denham's sons had died before January 1878 - John Denham, Boone County, Missouri and Samuel Denham, Whitley County, Kentucky. Their children were named in the estate settlement, being allowed their father's part of the estate (Estate Settlement, Pulaski County, Kentucky, Order Books, 1852-1878, and Deed Book 32, Pages 161 and 162).
