Funeral services for Grover C. Holmes, 85, a former resident of McComb, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb.
Mr. Holmes, who at one time was associated with Denman Alford Co. in McComb, died Monday afternoon in King's Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven.
He is a resident of Jonesboro, Ark., for some 17 years. He was a Methodist, a Mason and a Shriner.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Midge Newbury Holmes; one daughter, Mrs. Laverne Holmes Brady, Brookhaven; two grandsons and six great-grandchildren.
Rev. P. A. Michael will officiate.
