Mikolaj came to the United States in 1906. He and wife Tecla had 2 daughters, Marie and Anne. His death at age 32 left his wife a young widow. Sadly, not much is known about Mikolaj; his daughters were too young to remember him. But because of Mikolaj, other family members emigrated to the United States, one being my Grandfather who moved in with Mikolaj and Tilly. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, and many other loving family and friends.
