Aaron R. Jones, age 93, died of Natural Causes on August 1, 2007. He was born in Wellington, Utah on January 7, 1914 to William Edward and Mary Ann Rowley
Jones. He married Thora Willden Jones on November 23, 1936 in the Manti Temple. His wife of 70 years preceded him in death on May 11, 2007. Aaron was a devoted husband who spent the last two years providing loving, bedside care
to his wife at their home in Holladay, Utah.


His rich Mormon, pioneer heritage inspired dedication to family and the Lord. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
As the oldest son, he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps and sent money home to help his younger brothers in college. Aaron worked as a mason and left
behind many beautifully crafted rock walls.
Aaron, throughout his life, was an active LDS Missionary. He served on a mission to the Central States and seven stake missions. Later in life, Aaron
and his wife Thora served on a mission to London, England.
Aaron and Thora worked together in many businesses; Trucking, Automobile Sales, Service Incorporated, Aaron's Coverall and Towel, Real Estate and Estate
Planning.


Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 6th 2007 at 11 A.M. at the Valley View 3rd Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 4101 South 1925 East in Holladay, Utah. Friends and Family attended a Viewing on Sunday, August 5th 2007 at Memorial Estates Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East in Murray, Utah from 6-8 P.M. and One Hour Prior To Services at the Church.
Cryptside Services followed at the Mountain View Memorial Estates Memorial Mausoleum in Cottonwood Heights, Utah where he was Entombed beside his Beloved Wife Thora.
