Bertha G. Shaw, 39, of 5221 Northland, St. Louis, formerly of Peoria, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 1994, at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Jan. 13, 1955, in Mound Bayou, Miss., to Mozell Sr. and Alma Conwell Wallace, she married Carl Shaw. He survives in Chicago.
Also surviving are her father of Winstonville, Miss.; three brothers, Harry Wallace of Peoria, Sylvester Wallace of Memphis, Tenn., and Mozell Wallace Jr. of Los Angeles; and one sister, Olivia Hill of Peoria. Her mother and one brother preceded her in death.
She was a nurse's aide in Peoria.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Peoria.
