He was born June 18, 1943 in Bingham, UT to Matt S. and Lila Argyle Yengich. He married Pat Ellsworth on Sept. 25, 1982 in West Jordan, UT.
Matt was raised in Midvale, UT. He graduated from Jordan High School class of 1961.
He spent 11 years working for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department,and two years working as a Lieutenant for the Correctional Facility in Iron County. He enjoyed being a little league coach, fishing, horseback riding, and camping. Matt will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
