Terry Leon Bargen departed his earthly life to begin his next adventure on Friday March 13th, 2020 at the age of 70.

Terry is survived by his wife, JoAnna Bargen; daughter, Tammy Bargen; grandchild, Caden Ackles, as well as his brother, Lowell Bargen; and sisters Pam Beale and Cheryl Mohler. He is predeceased by his brother; Joe Bargen, and his parents Alvin and Wava Bargen.

Terry was born December 13th, 1949. He attended Superior High School and graduated in 1968. He, just like his generation, was a hard worker his whole life. He worked at the Cement Plant in Superior, the ASCS Office in Nelson, and Delka’s Garage in Hardy as a mechanic. Along the way he also was a self-employed farmer as well as in terrace construction. He married his wife on June 21, 1980. On September 28, 1983 they welcomed their only daughter to the world.

Terry was a dog lover. He had a soft spot for black Labradors and Coonhounds. He enjoyed spending time hunting coons and deer. He also loved to fish and enjoyed being able to take his daughter and grandson any chance he would get. The outdoors was where he felt most comfortable. It was with those interests that he had many tales to tell.

Terry will be greatly missed. During his life he created many memories with those he grew up and spent time with. It is those memories and stories that should carry on in his absence. The family asks that if you have a fond memory or story to please write it down and bring it to a viewing or the funeral. Those that are written will be placed with him to carry with him on his next journey.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 am, March 18, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE. Pastor Robert Hopkins will be officiating. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 am to 7 pm at the funeral home.
