A funeral for Lenore Mae Clarambeau of McMinnville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Sherwood United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Newberg Friends Cemetery.
Attrell's Newberg Funeral Chapel will be open for visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Clarambeau died Feb. 20, 2001, in her home. She was 71.
She was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Unionvale, the daughter of Austin and Selma Clow Allen. She was raised and educated in Unionvale. She graduated from Dayton High School in 1947.
She and Bertell Clarambeau were married July 6, 1947, in Vancouver, Wash.
She lived in McMinnville until 1961, then moved to the Sherwood area and worked on the family farm. She moved back to McMinnville in 1999.
Mrs. Clarambeau was a lifelong homemaker. She served on the Washington County Election Board and belonged to the Wiona Grange. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and also enjoyed gardening and making Christmas wreaths.
Survivors include her mother, Selma Woodward of McMinnville; six daughters, Donna Clarambeau of McMinnville, Diana Leith of Sherwood, Sharon Gray of Beaverton, Linda Millard of Molalla, Kathy Hardt of Redmond and Janet Schnetzky of Umatilla; a sister, Mary Johnson of Kyburz, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to Health Dynamics Hospice or the American Cancer Society, in care of Attrell's, 207 Villa Road, Newberg, OR 97132.
