Richard (Rich) Ermal Dean Warner, 86 of Rich Creek, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Heritage Hall Rich Creek. Rich was born on November 7, 1932 in Starke County, IN and was a son of the late Reuben Levi Warner and Vera Idelpha Webb Warner. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Patsy Warner Graves and his first wife, Peggy Corey Warner. Rich was a graduate of Knox High School, Knox, IN and Wesley College in Union Mills, IN. He was an ordained minister with the Independent Church of God in 1993. He pastored in Madrid, Iowa and several churches in Indiana. He made numerous mission workcamp trips to various South American countries, spending one winter in Brazil. Richard retired from the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana. He was a farmer for many years and continued to enjoy gardening during retirement. He is survived by his wife, the Rev. Bernice E. Warner of Honaker, one daughter, Sandra Johnson (Charles), three sons, James Warner (Judy), Randy Warner (Sandy) and David Warner (Famie) all of Indiana, one step-daughter, Rachel Tolson (Albert) of Indiana, two step-sons, Mark Jessie (Melissa) of Indiana, Timothy Jessie (Lori) of Honaker, twenty grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Memorial services will be held at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in DeLong, Indiana Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 6pm EDT.
