Julia Gilman Noyes (1875–1967) was the daughter of Charles Phelps Noyes and his wife, Emily Hoffman (Gilman) Noyes. She was married August 22, 1898 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Henry Wheeler DeForest (1855 – 1938), an American railroad executive and industrialist. They resided at 63 East 79th Street in New York and Nethermuir in Cold Spring Harbor.
