Darvin C. Bower, 89, of Berwick went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Berwick Retirement Village I, where he had been a resident since November 2019. He was born Aug. 22, 1930, in Berwick, a son of the late Delbert and Uella (Confer) Bower.

Darvin was a graduate of Berwick High School. He worked at and owned Garrison Feed Mill for many years. He enjoyed going bowling when he was younger and farming. He loved being around family.

Darvin is survived by five siblings: Sara Miller, Cora Gascon, Elaine Johns, Geraldine Hartman and Bonnie Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings: Charlotte Fowler, Etta Marqueen Bower, Robert Bower, Donald Bower, Delbert Bower, Velma Fetterman, Dora Diltz, Elvin Bower, Harold Bower and Mary Bower.

Services will be Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick, with Hospice Chaplain Michael Delp officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
