Joseph Edward Alexander, 81, Rt. 2, Gravette died thursday at the Gravette Medical Center. He was a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by eight sons, Glynn Alexander, Winfield, KS. Sam Alexander, Wichita, KS. Joe Alexander, Gentry. Leroy Alexander, Barstow, CA. Lavern Alexander, Wichita, KS. Dale Alexander, Shelby, CO. Billy Alexander, Gravette and Wendell Alexander, Gravette. Six daughters. Stella Ortue, Gravette. Ellen Raynor, Manhattan, KS. Bonnie Schaeffer, Gravette. Edna Schaeffer, Gentry. Viola Buffer, Gravette. Betty Wilkins, Decatur. Three brothers and four sisters; 31 grandchildre and nine great-grandchrildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm today at Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel in Gravette with the Rev. A.P. Vohn. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette
