An inquest was held yesterday on the bodies of Mr. Orlando Abbott and wife, who were killed while crossing the tracks of the Boston and Maine Railroad on Tuesday.
The verdict rendered by Judge Harmon was as follows: That said deaths occurred on the track of the Boston and Maine Railroad, near the "Osgood Crossing" in said city, and the means by which they came to their deaths were the injuries caused by coming in contact with a locomotive engine in motion on the Boston and Main Railroad; and it did not appear that said deaths resulted wholly or in part from the unlawful act or acts of any person or person. But it did appear that said "Osgood Crossing" was a dangerous one.
