Obituary:
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bibbs Peters, 83, 133 Danner Road, Elizabethton, died Saturday, August 19, 2000, at Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Peters was a native of Minden, W.Va., and had lived a number of years in Elizabethton. She was a daughter of the late P. M. and Bessie Mouser Bibbs.
She was a retired employee of Raytheon Corp., Bristol.
Mrs. Peters was a member of East Side Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, Sr., I 1974; two sons, Paul, Jr., and Jack Martin; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Peters and Jimmy Peters, both of Elizabethton; one sister, Pearl Lilly, Beckley, W. Va.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bibbs Peters, 83, 133 Danner Road, who died Saturday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2000, in the Memorial Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Howard Messer and the Rev. Tom Mains officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wilson Cemetery...
