Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 8, page 9 for Jackson Township, Brown County, records that Isaiah Bishir, white male, age 71y, 5m, 25ds, a laborer, and never married, died about 8 p.m. on February 19, 1905 in Jackson Township. The cause of death was "Heart Clot", due to "Lagrippe and Pneumonia." He was the son of Jeremiah Bishir, born in York County Pennsylvania, and Ester Maillet, born in New York. The informant was his brother, Jeremiah, and he was buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brown County on February 21, 1905, Lake and Gibson of Morgantown, undertakers.
