She was born in Harrisburg on October 14, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Norman A. Brandt and Margaret (Gillian) Brandt.
Janet graduated from William Penn High School in 1952.
She retired from Capital Bakers (Stroehmann Bakery) where she worked for over 30 years.
The passing of Janet will not only leave a large void in the lives of her family and friends, but will do so in the lives of all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her son: Joseph M. Wagner.
Janet is survived by her sons: Charles L., Kenneth A., and Jerry L.; her daughters: Carol Nguyen, Judy Balchunas, and Brenda Stover; her sixteen grandchildren; her twelve great-grandchildren; and, her sisters: Kathryn Wert and Nancy Kauffman.
A private viewing will be held for immediate family only.
A graveside service will be held for Janet at 01:00 PM on Wednesday March 04, 2020 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg PA 17112 with Rabbi Peter B. Kessler officiating. All are welcome and invited to attend.
