Maggie Louise LaRue, age 87, of Eddyville, KY passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Home Health Nurses Aid. She loved her children, adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an avid UK basketball fan.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years, James. N. LaRue, Eddyville, KY; two daughters, Debbie Smith (Rick), Lyon County, KY and Jill Choate, Princeton, KY; one step-son, Michael LaRue, Kansas City, MO; one brother, Robert Southern (Nancy) Eddyville, KY; ten grandchildren Megan Hudson (Barkley), Jordan Choate (Brittney), Jared Choate (Allison), Candy Aud (Gary), Melanie Clark (Zack), Sherry Padillo (Mario), Charity Mueller (Steven), Steven Choate (Lori), James Michael LaRue and Kaylie Rae LaRue and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eurie Thomas Southern and Lorene Vanvactor Southern, her first husband, Kenneth Wayne Davenport, one brother, Louis Southern and one son-in-law, Tommy Choate.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Kuttawa Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery.
