Second wife of Stephen N. Frisbie, married 9th of August, 1877.
She was formerly Miss Sophie A. Little, of Oberlin, Ohio.

Sophia Amelia was born 30 Apr 1835 In Newburgh, Orange, NY, the daughter of William Little and Deborah Horton (McEwen) Little.
Her family moved to Oberlin, Lorain, OH in 1837.
She attended Oberlin Academy for two years, entering in 1853. She taught in Ohio and was a teaching missionary in Tuskagee, Alabama. In 1878 she and her husband left Oberlin to go to Austin, MN where he had a farm. In 1900 they went to Minneapolis, MN.

During the war, (WWI?), she knitted socks, helmets and sweaters for the soldiers. She also made a Red Cross quilt which she sold for $135. For this effort she received a Distinguished Service certificate and a Red Cross medal.

In 1923-24, at the age of 86, she made a silk "log cabin" quilt which she presented to Oberlin College president for their Capital Campaign. She made other quilts and pillow covers to raise her quota of $285.
She died in Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN 4 Jun 1935.
