Clyde Lee Bea, 88, of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Nilson Funeral Home.

Clyde Lee Bea was born July 2, 1929 in East St. Louis, MO., to Leroy Talton Bea and Katie Evelyn (Hall) Bea. Clyde was raised by his mother and stepdad Bryson Burtner.

Clyde leaves his wife of 64 years.

Clyde proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

After his service to our country he became a Union Teamster truck driver. During his career Clyde drove for various companies.

Clyde loved woodworking, fishing and horses. Above all he enjoyed being with family.

Clyde was preceded in death by 9 sisters, 4 brothers, his daughter, Pam (Bea) Ledgerwood and son-in-law Mark Ledgerwood.

Clyde leaves 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, Aubrey. 1 brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
