Glen Marvin Heath 11/8/32-9/14/14, preceded in death by his beloved Patricia Each Heath, inseparable in life as they are now in heaven. Glen, as a young man in the early ‘50s, was a professional pitcher (Baltimore Orioles minor league) where he not only developed a curve ball, knuckle ball, and fast ball, but his never-ending love of all things sports -- if there was a ball, or competition, Glen was there, it didn’t matter if it was croquet, badminton, ping-pong, curling, you name it, however, he followed three teams with complete devotion, the Atlanta Braves, the Falcons, and Alabama “The Crimson Tide.” Even though he attended Emory and GA State Universities and was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Glen and Opal Heath, he lived in Georgia for over 60 years, and Patricia was a graduate of the University of Alabama, perhaps, that would explain things. Glen will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham Alabama, on 9/20/14 at 1:00 PM CT.
