Mae Belle, 100, of Sour Lake, passed away Wednesday at the Clairmont. A native of Pixlee Oklahoma Territory and a resident of the Beaumont area since 1987, Mae Belle was a retired Registered Nurse. She attended Bevil Oaks Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Rice, she is survived by her son, Charles Rice and his wife Barbara; daughter, Phoebe Tatum and her husband Gail; grandsons, John Rice and his wife Wendy, Scott Tatum and his wife Trisha and Mark Tatum; granddaughter, Tammy Hennigan and husband Van; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Ione Bidwell and numerous nieces and nephews.
