Horace Malicoat died October 1 at his home in Bloomington, Ind., following a year's illness. He is survived by the widow and three children, Chester and Carl of South Bend and Mrs. Frank Baer of Delphos, Ohio, and by five grandchildren, and two sisters. Most of his earlier life was spent in Dayton as a blacksmith. From there he moved to Mulberry to engage in well driving. He moved from Mulberry to Bloomington, where he again engaged in blacksmith work.
