Fred Martin, Sr. Services Friday In Luling
Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. from the chapel in Luling for Dred Woodly Martin, Sr. who died in the Edgar B. Davis Hospital in that city Tuesday.
The Rev. Dick Bubroc officiated at the services with burial in the Luling City cemetery.
Mr. Martin was born in Gonzales county on October 19, 1904, the son of Dock and Willie Alice Woods Martin. He had lived in Luling for the past 14 years, was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs.Chrystal W. Martin; four daughters, Mrs. Restha Davis of Hattiesburg, Miss.; Mrs. Willie ___ton of Seguin, Mrs. Chrystal LePori, San Antonio, Mrs. Lucy Polasek of Victoria; two sons, Sam Glover Martin of San Antonio, Dennis Don Martin of Austin; one sister, Mrs.Pearl Boysen of Houston; one brother, Earl Bee Martin of Oregon; 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
