She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Dierks, the daughter of the late Jim Fred and Bonner Ramage Nunn.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Chambers; a son, Dan Chambers, Jr.; and two sisters, Gay Bennett and Joy Green.

Worth, Texas, and J.R. and Edie Nunn of Alexander; two sisters and brother-in-law, Nora and Charlie Brown of Murfreesboro, and Christine Blaine of Shreveport, La.; grandchildren, Trent Chambers and wife Kate of Texarkana, Meredith L. and husband Caleb Hale of Texarkana, Ryne Wesley Chambers and Dylan Todd Chambers, both of Nashville; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of very special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Latimer Funeral Home, with Bro. Glen Green officiating.
Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Nashville.
