Mary Louise Greenleaf, 79, of Westport, passed away on May 6, at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
She was born in Richmond on April 18, 1924, the daughter of Fred and Ruth Murray.
She attended Richmond Schools and later married Alphie J. Pelletier and they resided in Bath. On Jan. 26, 1957
she married Albert J. Greenleaf Sr., and they resided on Westport Island. Mrs. Greenleaf was employed at Stinson's Cannery in Bath for 10 years and later at Ames Department Store in Wiscasset.
Mrs. Greenleaf enjoyed dancing.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Greenleaf Sr., on April 22, 1999, her son, Robert J. Pelletier on Jan. 18, 1994 and by one sister, Bernice Springer.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne J. Pelletier and his wife Barbara of Center Conway, N.H., and Paul B. Pelletier and his wife Marie of Charlestown, R.I., one stepson, Albert Greenleaf Jr., and his wife Barbara of Westport; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenleaf Cemetery on Westport Island.
