She is survived by her daughters Debbie (Jake) Head of Desloge, Cindy Ashlock of DeSoto, Paula Prentice of Festus, Holly Shanks of French Village, her son, Tim Ashlock of Tampa, Florida, her sister Nancy (the late Jerry) Williams of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren Jason (Angie) Head, Justin Head, Ashley (Seldon) Getty, Lauren (Chris Telle) Shanks, Kaitlynn Prentice; and great-grandchildren Emily, Chloe, Hailey, Ashdon, Natalie, Kyson, Jillian Chase, Melanie, Shalyn, and Kali.
Barbara loved reading her bible, spending time with her family and listening to gospel music""especially the Chuckwagon Gang and Elvis. She raised her children as a single mother, working two jobs, and retired as a sales associate and cashier for Walmart in Festus.
