Smith, white male, age 72y, 9m, 10ds, a farmer, and married to Minerva, died on December 16, 1902 in Johnson Township. The cause of death was "Old Age." He was the son of Joseph Smith, and Susanna Bell, birthplaces not noted. The informant was Frank Sullivan of Story, Indiana, and he was buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brown County on December 17, 1902, J. M. Hise of Houston, Indiana, undertaker.
