In the 1870 census Ada was residing with her parents on North Lubec Road on the northern end of the neck and her future husband was residing in the neighborhood. Ada was 13 yrs of age. Her father was a farmer born in North Lubec and her mother had come from Milbridge Maine (Early Families, Vol I).
Married Jesse A. Clark (Narrative of History of Machias, Drisko, Maine Marriage Records, and Huckins of Eastern Maine, Hardon). Jesse was also of North Lubec.
Had three children, Andrew, Leslie and Mildred and moved to Cumberland County.
Jesse died in 1923 and Ada was residing with her daughter Mildred and husband Philip VG Anderson in Portland in 1930. Ada was then 72 years of age.
