Gerald was born in Port Washington on July 8, 1952, son of Arnold and Caroline Bossler Ansay. He attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School, Class of 1970. On October 25, 1975 he was united in marriage with Bernadine Eischen at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington. The couple lived in Port Washington before moving to Saukville in 1988. Jerry moved to Fredonia in 2002.
Mr. Ansay worked as a Customer Service Tech for Kelly Company, retiring for health reasons in 2010.
Jerry was a huge fan of drag racing and was passionate about racing in general. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially if a game of Liar’s dice was involved.
Survivors include his three children: Nichole (John) Zarling, Jared (Mandii) Ansay and Patrick (Nicki) Ansay, seven grandchildren: Samuel, Marcus, Cailee, Tanya, Austin, Emily and Ameera. He is further survived by sisters Barb (Paul) Prohaska, Jayne (Marvin) Kolbach and JoAnn (Lewis Howard) Ansay, former wife Bernadine Ansay, other family and friends.
Per Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate his life will take place on March 1st at Nowhere Pub in Fredonia.
