Burl William Abston Sr. passed away June 5, 2010. He was born Jan. 19, 1921 in Thalia, Texas to Leslie and Ora Abston. He married Anita Bailey. They had two sons, Burl William Abston Jr. and Dale Wayne Abston. Burl was a good person and hard worker. He retired from the W.T. Waggoner Estate farm crew and spent his retirement years being a great supporter of sports at Crowell Schools. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army. Burl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anita, his son Burl and his brother Robert.
