Robert Adcock, Jr., 66, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at his home.

Born February 1, 1941, in Bell Buckle, TN, he was the son of the late Robert Ivy Adcock, Sr. (1910-2003) and Geneva (Lee) Adcock (1910-1996).

He was employed with Wallace White Pontiac, Gaffney dealership.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Belinda Wilson Adcock; a daughter, Mylinda Adcock of Tryon, NC; two sons, James Robert Adcock and Jerry Lee Adcock, both of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Crystal Burrell and Myla Gault, both of Tryon, NC; and four sisters, Peggy Hatchett and Mary Florence Crowell, both of Shelbyville, TN, Carey Ann Anderson of Idaho, and Patricia Dodson of Memphis, TN.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Wayne Adcock.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Monty King and the Rev. Terry Lee Wilson. The family received friends following the service at the graveside.
