She was a retired Library Assistant for U.S. Center for Disease Control and a member of Cathedral of the Risen Christ, Lincoln, NE., St. Peters Catholic Church, Charlotte, N.C., and St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Atlanta, GA.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Anne P. and Robert F. Diffendal of Lincoln, NE; son and daughter-in-law, James S. and Sarah K. Polk of Silver Spring, MD; grandson, David Polk of Arlington, VA.
She was preceded in death by husband, John W. polk, mother, Elizabeth Northey Montague, father, James J. Montague, brother, James, sisters, Margaret and Claire.
Services will be held in Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA.
