WASHOUGAL A homemaker and former school teacher, Alice Attwell Meyer died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1995, at home. She was 91.
Born Feb. 22, 1904, in Portland, Mrs. Meyer grew up in Stevenson, lived in Alaska with her husband for over 30 years and resided in Washougal for the last 30 years.
She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of the Alaska Potters Club and the American Pen Women.
Mrs. Meyer is survived by her husband of 62 years, Marcus W., at home; two daughters, Elaine Patterson of Washougal and Carol Anderson of Juneau, Alaska; two sons, M. R. "Bob" of Olympia, and Marcus F. "Monty" of Skamania; a brother, Albert Attwell of Camas; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
