A wonderful neshumah, Avraham Yaakov Goldberg! What a zeiskeit for this world he was. He married in the 1950's, to another Hasidic Jew, and after four sons were born, with three surviving, the couple divorced. He made a living writing advertising copy for commercials and other odd jobs, while pursuing vertical theater, as he called, and penning four wonderful plays which are in the category of performance art. He was inspired by the Los Angeles of his time to share the message of Jewish spirituality with a select group of students. He had at one time been brought closer to Yiddishkeit by Rav Zvi Kahana, who was an Av Bet Din in Los Angeles, orginally from Munkach in Europe who escaped to Eretz Israel. Rav Kahana is buried in Israel.
