Born December 4, 1948 in Greene County, he was the son of James Roy and Lucy Charlotte (DeFrees) Abrams.
Mike enjoyed farming and was an operator at the coal mine. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, Bloomfield American Legion Post 196 and the Odd Fellows.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Janice whom he married July 30, 1977; his children, Stacy Lowry (Chad), Mike Abrams (Ashley) and Michele Coker (Jason); grandchildren, Gage Lowry, Gracie Lowry, Evelyn Abrams, Lucy Abrams and Reece Coker; his siblings, Beverly Kennedy, Linda Meadows and twin brother, Jim Abrams; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Sparks and Charlotte Gabbard and his parents.
