Jo Herrin 94, peacefully passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Thursday February 13, 2020.

Jo, was born on September 9, 1925, the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Giles) Booker, in Waco, Texas.

On October 20,1945 she married Paul Herrin, in Waxahachie,Texas. They later moved to Forreston,Texas where she resided for over 50 years.

Jo worked at the same location in Italy, Texas for 50 plus years where she faithfully was one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave. She worked for numerous garment companies where she served each one as a floor supervisor, the last being Texel Industry.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove, Texas. She cherished her church and church family and loved seeing them all on Sunday mornings until she was no longer able to attend.

Jo, affectionately became known as Granny Jo by her grandchildren, but it didn’t stop there. She became Granny Jo to everyone she met and she loved each and everyone of them.

She is survived by her loving family, son, Charles Herrin and wife Janet, daughter Beverly Bruner and husband Freddie, and Randy Herrin and wife Jo Lynn.

Grandchildren, Todd Bruner (Petra), Ashley Isom (Mike), Clint Herrin (Jessie), Randy Herrin Jr. (Wendy), Matt Herrin, and Justin Herrin(Natalie).

Great Grandchildren, Dustin (Precilla), Jordan (Brittany), Zoe, Kynlee, Kylee, Wyatt, Trenton, Ana, Abby, Cooper, and Great Great Granddaughter, Audrey.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, four sisters and 3 brothers.
