Retired Master Sergeant from the United States Marine Corps. Enlisted 1 March 1977 Retired 30 April 2002. Worked as a civilian contractor in Iraq for two different companies. Was injured by a work-related injury and was forced to retire. He moved to Port Huron from Slidell, LA where he had retired to be closer to family. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He moved back south to Gulfport, MS where he enjoyed the warm weather, awesome southern food and Southern hospitality.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Cindy, a brother, Dan Lindsay of Biloxi, MS and Four daughters Laura Lindsay of Memphis, Michigan and Julia Herbert of Midland, Texas, Olga (Matt) Patton of Port Huron and Gloria (David) Rivera of Casa Grande, AZ. One son, Joseph (Pamela) Lindsay of Lennon, MI. And many grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mildred Bunch and Max Lindsay, sister Carolyn Lindsay and a daughter Linda Marie Lindsay.
