E. Louise "Lou" (Northcutt) Servies, age 98, of Crawfordsville, IN, passed away on February 8, 2020 at Brownsburg Meadows in Brownsburg, IN. She was born in Crawfordsville, IN on August 17, 1921 to the late Orville Jake and Flo Ana (Miller) Northcutt.
Ella attended Crawfordsville schools. On September 23, 1944, she married Edward Servies, who preceded her in death on April 17, 1980.
Ella was a hard worker and started working at the young age of 12 cleaning homes for 50 cents a week. She worked and retired from R.R. Donnelley's after 35 years. She enjoyed singing, gardening, attending stock car races and watching NASCAR and the Indy 500. Ella loved people, loved socializing and had many friends throughout the years.
She is survived by one daughter; four stepchildren; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Luanne Hendricks; great-granddaughter, Heather Hendricks; and two brothers, Robert Northcutt and Donald Northcutt.
Visitation was at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 12:00 PM till the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Aldrich officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill North Cemetery.
