Mrs Mariane Elizabeth Bair, wife of William Bair, died at the home of her son, D J Bair, in Penn township, near Hanover, this morning at 12:15 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. She had been ill for some time. She was aged 77 years, seven months and six days.
Mrs Bair was the daughter of the late David and Celena (Lohr) Bair, Adams county. She is survived by her husband, one son, D J Bair, and a grandchild, Ruth Bair. She was a life long member of Christ Reformed church, near Littlestown.
The funeral will be held on Monday, with a service at the home at 2 pm and further services at Christ Reformed church, Littlestown. The Rev H H Hartman, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
