"FUNERAL OF LATE ALEX HAFFNER WILL BE HELD TOMORROW AFTERNOON
The body of the late Alex Haffner, who passed away in Denver, Colo., Tuesday night, arrived in this city this afternoon and was taken to the Durland-Sawtell funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the German M. E. church. Rev. Paustin will have charge, and interment will be made in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Haffner, who for many years lived in this city, is survived by five children, Albert H. Haffner of this city, Edwin and Herman of Breen, Colo., Mrs. Mary Baab of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Lydia Herman of Lincoln. Neb."

The cemetery reported they had no record of him. However, I would think he would have been buried near his wife, Caroline.
