Coye Lee "Tommy" McMahan was the third child of five born to James Madison McMahan and his second wife Nellie Blanche Iriwn (the 8th child for James Madison). He was born at home and died at Good Sameritan Regional Health Center. He was a Protestant. He married Ethel Little on Nov. 7, 1941 in Cape Girardeau Co., MO. He was a farmer and had owned and trained horses. He was a member of the Elks and Eagles, was a past member of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors, was a former Hamilton County game warden and was a guest memeber of the American Legion Post 106. His funeral services were held at Gholson Funeral Home-McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., IL. Five brothers preceded him in death.
