Billy was a member of the Hepburn Masonic Lodge F.A.M. # 576 Sandy Hook, Kentucky He was also a member of the Sandy Hook VFW #11428. Billy was of the Baptist Faith and attended Concord Baptist as well as all area Churches. He was an Elliott County Policeman as well as a Constable.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Janie Grace Smith Flannery. 1 Son Darrell Lewis, a Grandson Brayden Hudson, a Granddaughter Sarah Lawson 1 Brother John Quentin Flannery and a sister Clarice Elaine Flannery.
Billy is survived by his spouse of 12 years, Josette Flannery. He has 4 sons; Mattie Flannery of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Danny Caudill (Melinda) of Morehead, Kentucky. Darren Flannery of Middletown, OH. & Martin McNamara of Lansing MI. 5 Daughters; Kathy Bair (Chris) of Morehead, Kentucky, Christi Elam (Nick) of Wilmington OH, Tara Gibson (Paul) of Cannel City, Kentucky, Mary Lawson and Janie Sue Lawson of Rush, Kentucky. Billy has 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also, he has a host of extended family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
There will be a Masonic Service Sunday Evening at 7 p.m. In the Chapel of Whitt & Sons Funeral Home. Full Military Rights will be held on Monday afternoon immediately following the Funeral Service.
A memorial service in Lansing, MI will be at a later date.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2020 in the chapel of Whitt & Sons Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky with Brother Brian Flannery officiating. Friends may visit 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday February 9, 2020.
