Born on February 3, 1951, in Valdosta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Rhoden Steven Castleberry and Clarice Askew Fountain Castleberry. He was the co-owner of J and F alignment and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Jan Castleberry; and brothers, Larry Castleberry, and James R. Castleberry.
Mr. Castleberry is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Earley Castleberry of Moultrie; son, John Castleberry, Jr. of Moultrie; daughter, Tonya Castleberry Tillman and husband Chris of Moultrie; sisters, Sherry Yarbrough and husband James of Valdosta, Shalyn Wilson and husband Kenny of Hahira; grandchildren, Cheyenne Tillman, Savannah Tillman, Cody Tillman, Johnathan Castleberry, and Brooklyn Castleberry.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
