Mr. Beeney died Tuesday, June 17, 1969, in Mesa, Arizona. A former Newark, Ohio resident.
He was at one time a professional ball player and bowler. A veteran of World War I, serving in the Army, he was a formerly employed at the Firestone Store in Newark, Ohio, the E. T. Rugg Co,, and the Newark school system.
Surviving are a son, James S. of Birmingham, Mich.; two half-brothers: Robert Beeney of Newark, Howard Beeney of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and three grandchildren. His wife Lula Starr Beeney, died in 1968.
Services were conducted June 20, 1969 at Criss Brothers Funeral Home.
