F. Virginia Shade die don Aug. 22, 1984 in the Chambersburg Hospital. A daughter of the late Thomas W. and Bertha Ella Shatzley Ryan, she was born on April 28, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Shade was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. For the past eight years she was a volunteer at the Chambersburg Hosptial.
Her husband Donald O. Shade II died Jan. 5, 1976.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Keith Kunkle) of Chambersburg and Donna (Mrs. Terry) Abbott, also of Chambersburg; two sons, Thomas G. of Wilmington, Delaware and and Donald O. III of Chambersburg; two brothers, Thomas W., Jr . of Chambersburg and Robert C. of Martinsburg, W. VA.
