- lived in Idaho for 11 years where 6 children were born. George, Fanny, Leslie, Rhoda, Harold and Mattie.
- John Henry Clifton immigrated to Lethbridge, NWT by rail on April 8 1900. He was accompanied by George & Frank Hodge. Their wives arrived July 4 1900.
- 3 sons were born at Daly Creek - Albert, Walter & Lloyd.
- The rest of the children were born at Grandma Hogg's Maternity Home in Macleod - Kenneth, Jane, Elizabeth & Dorothy.
TRAGEDIES
Albert was accidentally shot and killed while rabbit hunting Leslie was killed in a car accident between Granum and Fort Macleod during a snowstorm.
