Native of Petaluma is Called by Death
George Lincoln Sackett, who was born in Petaluma and is known here died in Santa Rosa yesterday after a long illness. The deceased left Petaluma years ago and made his home in Oakland where he was principal of the Oakland high school. He recently removed to Burke Corners, near Santa Rosa, where he passed away.
The late Mr. Sackett was born in this city in 1865 and was aged 65 years (sic). He was the husband of Mrs. Rose Sackett; brother of H. P. Sackett of San Anselmo; Mrs. Hattie S. Ward, San Diego. The body will be sent to Santa Paula for burial.
